I am a homeschool mom to 5 wonderful and beautiful children and the wife of a loving, hard working man. We do a simple house church in my house (more about that can be found at www.bradmckoy.wordpress.com). I enjoy being online, reading a wide variety books, writing in a journal or writing books (which I haven’t gotten published YET), cooking (when it’s not too hot outside because my oven heats up the house terribly), chillin’ with my friends, and lovin’ my family.
I am currently working on a curricula series called Legacy Leavers that teaches Bible and character development with creativity and hands-on excitement. The first book in the series is Kindness (final revisions now). The next book is Obedience (in 2010). (You can find out more about that on another page – this page is about ME!).
I look up to my parents and I loved my Grandma (d. 2006). They taught me about God and His love and have lived a life worthy of emulating. However, I am my own person and strive to emulate Christ’s walk more. He is what my life is about. He is what I live for. While I am alive I am removing rocks in my spiritual walk so my children can walk smoothly through. I am reaching high for the Kingdom of God so that my ceiling will be my kid’s floor. I have seen people healed, but I want to see people raised from the dead. If I don’t get to see it in my lifetime, then I want my kids to be that much closer to it so they can see someone raised. I want my life to be worthy of emulating, but for my kids to ultimately follow Christ.
