Last night, my Globug had a nightmare. Or perhaps it is Satan messing with her because she is writing a new Jesus song. She sees people in her room and dark glowing eyes. Many times one of the people resembles Chucky – that horrible doll. (She saw a commercial for the movie many years ago and he has been haunting her ever since).
We talked about her nightmare and then we prayed. As I prayed, Jesus began talking to me about His name and true love’s kiss.
My prayer was simply that Jesus and His most powerful name, the name that is stronger than anything would protect my little girl and that He would wrap His arms around her.
He showed me that his name was indeed the name above all names and that his name was true love’s kiss, reminding me that there is nothing stronger (just watch all the princessy movies). He would move heaven and earth to hear His name spoken again and again. He would wrap his arms around us and give us his kiss of true love just to hear his name spoken.
He also reminded me that He WAS true love’s kiss because there is no greater love than what He did for us on the cross. That was the ultimate kiss. When Jesus did that, He insured that there was a way to receive “true love’s kiss”.
I believe that Jesus wants us to use His name more often (and not when we are mad or upset) to spread True Love’s Kiss. And while the kiss may not LOOK like this:
